Pirimanu is a 1968 Gaudry designed carvel planked kauri with a solid teak cabin. She came to Blair boats to have all the windows replaced, new gear box fitted, and a full revarnish. We used Awlwood gloss for the varnish requiring 19 coats to get the correct thickness. A year later after the hull had taken up Blair boats was commissioned to paint the topsides and deck.
