Razzle is Dave Blairs own boat, built in 2001 Razzle is a Granger Alfresco design: modified by Blair boats. The cockpit layout was changed to have better access to the sail controls, walk though transom, stern hung rudders, custom carbon fiber tillers, low swim and boarding platform. The rear beam was made larger and stiffer and added to the overall length from the original design. Razzle is built from striped planked western red cedar with epoxy fiberglass inside and outside skins. The cabin top is PVC foam core, e-glass. She was refitted in 2021 with a new paint job, custom Carbon fiber hard top, carbon fiber dinghy davits, solar, custom freezer and lithium battery conversion. Razzle is a fast cruiser racer having won her division in the coastal classic and placed in Bay of Island Race week. She has also been extensively cruised in and around New Zealand and down to the South Island.
